Pet-Friendly Taxi: Oxford to Gatwick
We can carry a well-behaved pet in a secure carrier on your Oxford to Gatwick transfer — tell us in advance so we can arrange the right vehicle and any extra time needed for boarding your pet elsewhere.
The Car
Estate car, 6 seater or 8 seater
The estate car takes 4 passengers plus 3 large suitcases and hand luggage. Groups of 5 or 6 can book the 6 seater, and groups of 7 or 8 the 8 seater, which takes 8 large suitcases.
What to tell us in advance
Let us know the type and size of pet, and whether it'll travel in a carrier or crate, at booking. This isn't about pets flying with you — very few passenger flights allow that — but about a taxi that also needs to drop a pet at a boarding kennel, cattery, or a friend or family member's house en route to or from the airport.
Building in the extra stop
If your journey includes a stop to drop off or collect a pet, mention it at booking so the timing accounts for it properly — this may adjust your fixed fare slightly depending on the detour involved, agreed with you before you travel.

Can my pet fly with me to Gatwick in the taxi? +
The taxi itself can carry a pet in a secure carrier for a drop-off or collection en route (for example at a kennel), but this page isn't about pets travelling on the flight itself — check with your airline separately for that.
